Project Introduction:
This innovative project by Huijue Group in Taizhou, Zhejiang, ensures smooth project advancement through a solid technical plan and efficient execution, providing strong support for the company’s further development in the energy storage field. The project is distributed across 7 key locations in Taizhou, with each location equipped with a single 215kWh energy storage cabinet. The project has successfully installed and commissioned a total of 20 MWh, offering a new energy solution for local industrial, commercial, and residential users.

  • The project started in April 2024 with on-site design initiation.

  • Construction began in August 2024.

  • Installation and commissioning were completed by September 2024.

  • By October 2024, the installation and commissioning of 5 locations and 13 energy storage cabinets were completed, alongside the grid connection inspection and acceptance for the National Grid distributed energy project.

  • The entire project passed final acceptance after 7 months in November 2024.

Project Details:

  • Application: User-side industrial and commercial energy storage, mainly for industrial, commercial, and residential users, leveraging peak-valley price arbitrage to reduce electricity costs.

  • Installed Capacity: 2795 kWh

  • Main Equipment: Energy storage cabinets, grid connection cabinets, energy storage inverters (PCS)

Project Advantages:

  1. Technical Advantages:
    The project adopts a 100kW/215kWh (narrow-body cabinet) outdoor cabinet energy storage system, designed to primarily perform peak shaving and valley filling functions. Charging and discharging are controlled according to peak and valley time periods at the project site, with timed charging and discharging.

  2. Efficient Charging and Discharging:
    The charging and discharging control follows a 2-charge, 2-discharge cycle per day, i.e., charging during the valley period, discharging during the peak period, charging again during the valley period, and discharging during the peak period. The power for a single machine during charging and discharging is 100kW, with a discharge depth of 90%, which can be adjusted.

  3. Intelligent Monitoring:
    The energy storage system’s internal control system offers complete monitoring and control of the device’s operational status, fault alarms and protection, event logging, and more.

  4. Environmental Benefits:
    The entire energy storage system helps improve the consumption of clean energy, reduces power transmission losses, and supports the achievement of the “dual carbon” goals.
